General Information about Nelspruit

Nelspruit which attracts many visitors each year mainly because of its close proximity to the famous Kruger National Park can be found within the North Eastern parts of South Africa. Nelspruit is closely neighboured by Pietersburg and Middleburge but is also close to the borders of Swaziland and Mozambique.

The city has been inhabited since 1905 and can be found within the province of Mpumalanga, boasting a population of over 221,500 residents. Nelspruit is expected to appear in the media shortly as the city prepares to host the 2010 FIFA Football World Cup.

Travelling to Nespruit is simple with regular flights landing at the Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport. It is also possible to travel to Nespruit via train from Johannesburg and Mozambique.
