Set along the Taedong River North Korea's capital of Pyongyang and is home to approximately 2,750,000 people. Pyongyang was completely rebuilt after the Korean War and features some amazing monuments that are well worth visiting.

The best way to see all of Pyongyang at once is by taking a trip to the top of the Juche Tower which is the city's monument dedicated to the Juche philosophy. It would be impossible to miss Pyongyang's famous Arch of Triumph and is sixty metres in height and fifty metres in width. The Arch Of Triumph is also the world's largest arch.
