Set within the southern tiers of the Andes the Torres del Paine National Park is like a candy store for travellers with its abundance lakes, mountains and glaciers. Covering an extraordinary area of 2,400 square kilometres Chile's well visited national park can be found within the Extreme Southern parts of the Patogonia Region.

Hiking is a popular activity and as you hike along one of the parks many paths you will see a wide variety of native wildlife and wild flowers. Hiking trips vary from one day to nine days with a number a campsites located around the park.

If you are planning on visiting the Torres del Paine National Park then the best place to stay is the nearby city of Puerto Natales. Bus is the best way of travelling to the Torres del Paine National Park and the journey from Puerto Natales is approximately four hours.
